Who is Dr Megan?

I’ve always seen beneath the surface. I noticed what didn't line up even before I had the words for it. I could sense the emotional truth under what someone was saying. I picked up on changes in tone, rhythm, microexpressions—things people often miss or dismiss. For me, it was automatic. It still is.

I didn’t set out to study people. I just always had to understand what was happening underneath. The behaviors. The shifts. The parts that didn’t match. I didn’t know it would turn into something I’d eventually write about. I just didn’t know how to ignore what I saw.

I hold a doctorate and am a certified professional coach, but I don’t lead with that. I don’t need to. What matters to me isn’t where something comes from but whether it’s true.

I write from observation, from lived experience, and from the clarity I’ve always carried. I’m not performing insight. I’m just naming what’s already there.

That’s all I’ve ever done.
